Now Playing: Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets
Menu: There is a lot of fun to be had here! Some easy “go to” ideas for dinner can be Dragon Wings (Roasted Chicken), Quidditch Players Pie (Shepard’s Pie) and Steak & Kidney Pie (A bit too time intensive for me but certainly authentic). Where the real fun begins is the sweets!
Beverage: Butter Beer
1 can of cold cream soda
3-4 tbsp caramel Syrup
Pour cream soda and caramel syrup into a huge glass mug. Stir well. Top with Whip Cream.

Harry Potter Desserts & Snacks For The DIY Mom:
Gordon Ramsay’s Treacle Tart Recipe – Rich and sweet, a classic English treacle tart is a delicious dessert – especially when paired with some cream. Here’s an easy recipe for this traditional pastry dish.
Chocolate Wands – These are not only yummy but you can make them part of the fun decorations.
Chocolate Frogs – This candy mold is a perfect replica! *Jumping skills not included
Ferrero Rocher Golden Snitches – I did these for my Baby Shower (see image below). Simple cut wings out of white tissue paper and adhere them to the outside. I just used a little clear tape but I think glue dots would be even better. Very easy to do!
Harry Potter Font – To make your own labels and invites.
Printable Owl Post Invitation
Owl Ballons for Hogwarts Invites

Signs and Cupcake Toppers – Make the bathroom Professor Snap’s potion class!
For The “No One’s Got Time for That!” Mom: I love all the amazing things you can make for a Harry Potter inspired Movie Night or Party. But … I don’t have time for 90% of them. Here are my suggestions on buying your way to an extra easy family movie night. Or do what I do, buy most of it and pick one thing to make and then you can feel like one of those amazing Pinterest Moms and still have some time for a bubble bath with a glass of much needed wine.
Harry Potter Bertie Botts Every Flavour Jelly Beans – Pray you don’t get the vomit flavored one when stealing some from the kids! We made a fun game out of it by finding the doubles and trying them at the same time and seeing who could guess the flavor first.
Harry Potter Wand – If only you could use the wand to speed up bedtime.
Stairway, Window & Torch Props – Add some snazzy (yes, I do use the word snazzy .. don’t judge) decorations to make your living room feel like Hogwarts.
Hogwart’s Wall Banner – More snazzy decor.
